Australia all-rounder Marcus Stoinis to bowl again after injury

The Aussie all-rounder, Marcus Stoinis who couldn’t play a single match of the Indian Premier League second half of the 2021 season is all ready to bowl again for the Baggy Green of Australia. Marcus Stonis will be a player to watch out for in the T20 World Cup 2021. Stoinis has good experience from the T20 leagues like IPL and BBL. Australia will bank on his experience to do the job for his country.

The hamstring injury which the Aussie all-rounder, Marcus Stonis suffered during the IPL 2021 season has been on mend now and Marcus will look to bowl in the warm-up match against India tomorrow.  Australia played against New Zealand and won that match by three wickets. Marcus Stonis didn’t bowl in that game. Bu, he scored 28 runs from 23 deliveries in Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

In the last practice match with New Zealand, Marcus Stoinis batted at five and he scored 28 runs from 23 balls. He also shared a stand of 48 runs with Steve Smith. Stoinis also fielded well as a fielder and Australia will play with a full-strength squad for the T20 World Cup 2021. Some senior players who refused to play the T20 matches on overseas tours have also joined the Aussie squad for this World T20 2021 event.

Marcus Stoinis getting back in action with the ball will boost the Aussies Team. Australia will need him to fire at the number position along with another all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, who gave away 53 runs against New Zealand in the last warm-up game. Australia will be concerned about that performance and that is why the team wants Marcus Stoinis to start bowling again.
