Darshan Nalkande is an Indian cricketer born on October 4, 1998. He made his List A debut for Vidarbha in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy on October 2, 2018. On November 1, 2018, he made his first-class debut for Vidarbha in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy.

In the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League, he was purchased by the Punjab Kings in December 2018. (IPL). He made his Twenty20 debut for Vidarbha in the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on February 21, 2019. In February 2022, he was acquired by the Gujarat Titans in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League season. He made his IPL debut against Punjab Kings in April 2022.

Nalanda is an elegant young Vidarbha fast bowler with only five first-class matches. He began his career as a bowler, but he developed into a brilliant all-rounder as he honed his talents with the bat. He was selected for the India U-19 team for the Asia Cup and was also named to the World Cup squad’s problems, but he didn’t make the final cut. In the U-23 CK Nayudu Trophy, Nalkande demonstrated his bat-and-ball prowess, launching him into the spotlight.

He was born to Girish Nalkande and Sapna Nalkande, an advocate. Gaurav Nalkande is his older brother, and he also has an older sister. Darshan Nalkande was born in Warda, Maharashtra, India, on October 4, 1998. His parents saw his enthusiasm for cricket and enrolled him in the Akola Cricket Club’s summer camp. The club’s coaches were so amazed that they decided to retain him to force him to train for a year.

Domestic Career of Darshan Nalkande

Darshan debuted in the Vijay Hazare Cup. On October 2, 2018, this match was held in Vidarbha. On November 1, 2018, he played in the Ranji Trophy. He also has a total of 13 sixes. In 2016-17, he had his breakout season as a bowler, helping Vidarbha win the Cooch Behar Trophy for the first time. Nalanda took 31 wickets for 19.58 runs, including three five-wicket hauls. He was a standout batsman in the Under-23 division in the same season.
