Eoin Morgan will not shy away from Withdrawing: He won’t be an obstacle for England in winning the World T20 2021

Under Eoin Morgan, England won the ICC World Cup in 2019, and under his leadership, England ended up as the finalist of the T20 World Cup in 2016.

Eoin Morgan is the first England captain to win a World Cup without playing a single Test match for his country. He has been their leading run-scorer in the limited-overs cricket currently.

But the last few months haven’t been the best for the current England skipper. His bat has been silent in the whole season of the Indian Premier League 2021. Morgan’s franchise KKR ended up as the runners up of this cash-rich league tournament.

The Kolkata Knight Riders franchise was placed at the bottom of the points table when the tournament was played in India. But due to an inspired captaincy from the England skipper, KKR has finished on the second spot of the IPL 2021 season.

The luck changed for the Purple army once the tournament was shifted from India to the UAE. Morgan’s form in this season was a poor one and despite that, he didn’t play the warm-up match against India, which England lost.

Eoin Morgan was asked about his poor form. He replied that there is an option to drop him from the T20 World Cup 2021 England Squad.

Morgan also said that it would be a risk if he continues with his poor form in a tournament like T20 World Cup 2021. Morgan won’t shy away from being dropped if he doesn’t perform. Eoin doesn’t want to be an obstacle in a win for England.
