Fabian Allen ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2021: Akeal Hosein announced as the replacement

West Indies will be without their star spin bowling all-rounder Fabian Allen in the T20 World Cup 2021 tournament.

Fabian Allen has sustained an ankle injury. The technical team of the International Cricket Council has approved the decision of AkkealHosein as the replacement of Allen.

Fabian is a spin bowling all-rounder of the West Indies team, who is the current defending champions of the T20 World Cup 2021.

Allen provides depth in the batting order of the defending champions, Windies and his four overs of spin on the wickets like Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah would have been handy for them.

Now the team will miss the all-around skills of Fabian. The replacement of Allen is like like replacement. AkkealHosein is also a spin bowling all-rounder who could tonk the ball as Fabian does. Akkeal was included in the T20 World Cup 2021 squad of the West Indies as a reserved player.

The reserved players can be part of the T20 World Cup 2021 squad as per the rules of the ICC. Hossain has minimum experience. He has played just six shorter format games and nine fifty-over matches so far for West Indies.

GudakeshMoite is also been added to the T20 World Cup 2021 squad as the new reserve player of the T20I squad. Windies hope to perform better in this tournament despite this huge loss.
