After winning the toss, Indian skipper Kohli decided to bowl first. According to pitch reports, the team that has to chase the target has an advantage over that pitch. Keeping this thought in mind, Indian Captain decided to field first in their first warm-up match for the coming T20i WC. Josh Buttler was captain of England’s team in today’s match.

Indian bowlers took wickets on at regular intervals of time restrict English batsman set to score a target of 185 runs in a loss of five wickets. After giving a solid start to innings, England lost their two wickets in the powerplay. Both openers made 17 and 18, respectively. Mohammad Shami was the highest wicket taken from the Indian bowling attack. He wickets of Roy, Buttler, and well set Livingstone. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was very expensive today. He gives a total of 54 runs in his spell and fails to take any wicket. Rahul Chahar and Jaspreet Bumrah took one wicket, respectively. Ashwin and Bumrah stayed very economical throughout the innings.

Kishan’s Classic 70 runs and KL Rahul’s Attacking start.

India started to chase the target with openers KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan. It was very surprising for everyone to see Kishan in place of Rohit Sharma. After losing the wicket of KL Rahul, Skipper Virat Kohli took his foot on the crease. He made 11 runs with the help of 13 deliveries. Livingstone picked the wicket of Kohli on 125 runs.

Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan made his Fifty. He scored a total of 70 runs in 46 deliveries with the help of three mighty sixes and seven fours. He was the highest scorer from India’s side. England’s skipper used seven bowlers in their total innings. After coming on the crease, Indian Wk batsman Rishabh Pant clears his content by hitting two huge sixes in his first 6 balls. Rishab Pant scored 29 runs in 14 deliveries with the help of one four and three sixes. Suryakumar Yadav Started his innings after Kishan went outside due to retired hurt. He scored a total of 11 runs in 13 deliveries. Hardik Pandya and Pant made India chased down the target in 19 overs.

David Willy, Mark Wood, and Liam Livingstone were the only wicket-takers from England’s side of attack. All picked one wicket each. Chris Woakes was very expensive throughout his spell. He gave a total of 40 runs in his 4 overs spell.

Indian team achieves their 189 run target in 19 overs with keeping 7 in hand. India won the warm-up match against England by 7 wickets.

Ishan Kishan was awarded for Man Of The Match for his excellent performance of 70runs in 46 deliveries.

Both teams will play their second warm-up match on 20th October at 3.30 PM. India will face Australia while England will fight against two-time champs West Indies.
