Domestic career Of N. Pooran

He debuted in the West Indies under-19 in October 2013 in a bilateral series against Bangladesh and then went on to play next year under 19 World Cup. As a team vice-captain Limited of cricket and primary wicketkeeper, he scored 303 runs from 6 matches, ranking 4th for total runs in the tournament and leading the west Indies average.

This included half-centuries against Canada and India, along with this was a mammoth inning of 143 against Australia in a match where his entire team scored only 208 all out. His innings were described as one of the most memorable innings under pressure in tournament history.

International under -19 level, he had played for four matches for Trinidad and Tobago in the domestic one-day Regional super 50 competition in February and March 2013.

He made his T20 International debut for West Indies against Pakistan in 2016 at Dubai International Stadium..In 2018 he was named in the West Indies Squad for their tour to India. In the third T20 match in that series, he scored an unbeaten 53 of 25 balls to get his Maiden half-century and T20 International Cricket.

 Later he became the vice-captain of West Indies and in this format, even he captained them in the five-match T20 International series against the Aussies which they won in the absence of their original captain Kieron Pollard who pulled his hamstring during training.

T20 International numbers are very eye-catching, especially for a middle-order batter with 57 matches and 1194 runs at an average of 27.77 with a strike rate of 129.08.
