Noor Ahmad is an Afghan cricketer born on January 3, 2005. On April 29, 2019, he made his first-class debut for Kabul Region in the 2019 Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament. In the 2019 Shpageeza Cricket League, he made his Twenty20 debut for Mis Ainak Knights on October 8, 2019.
Picked him to Afghanistan’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup squad in December 2019. He was appointed to the St Lucia Zouks roster for the 2020 Caribbean Premier League in July 2020. On October 14, 2020, he made his List A debut for Mis Ainak Region in the 2020 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament.
He was signed by the Melbourne Renegades in December 2020, at the age of 15, to participate in the 2020–21 Big Bash League season in Australia. Noor was named to the Chennai Super Kings’ 2021 Indian Premier League team as a net bowler in March 2021. Noor also played for the Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League in June 2021.
Noor was selected for Afghanistan’s One Day International (ODI) team against Pakistan in July 2021. He was picked to Afghanistan’s squad for the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in the West Indies in December 2021.
Following the players’ draught in the Supplementary category for the 2022 Pakistan Super League, he was signed by the Quetta Gladiators later that month. He debuted for the squad against Islamabad United at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on February 12, 2022.
